Terms of Sale and Service

Version 1 · in effect since 17/05/2026

Draft — to be reviewed by a lawyer before public launch. 1. Purpose and platform status These terms govern transactions on the Batizzy marketplace. Batizzy acts as a technical intermediary; the sales contract is concluded directly between seller and buyer. 2. Listings and prices The seller is responsible for the accuracy of listings. In a B2C context, prices are shown inclusive of tax. 3. Direct purchase and offers Depending on the mode chosen by the seller, the buyer may purchase at the displayed price or submit an offer. The order is firm only after explicit confirmation via an "Order with obligation to pay" button. 4. Payment and delivery Payment, pickup and delivery are agreed between seller and buyer. Transaction-related communication goes through secure messaging. 5. B2C clauses (consumers) Consumer buyers benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal and the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity. A model withdrawal form is provided. 6. B2B clauses (between professionals) Between professionals, the right of withdrawal and certain consumer guarantees do not apply. 7. Disputes In case of a dispute, internal mediation by Batizzy is recommended, without prejudice to the consumer mediation service and the European ODR platform. 8. Liability and governing law Batizzy's liability is limited to the operation of the intermediation. Belgian law applies.
