You describe the job once, with your photos, typed or dictated. Every pro starts from the same request, so their quotes compare with each other.
Quotes you read together
Total incl. and excl. VAT, gap with the cheapest, deposit, validity, start date: the comparison lines it all up, in the order you choose.
No cold calls
Pros write to you through the project messages. They see neither your email address nor your phone number, and you reply to whoever you like.
The works file in one place
After you agree, signed worksheets, photos and invoices with their payment QR code stay with the project. The day you need them, you know where to look.
How to spot a reliable pro
Batizzy does not guarantee contractors' work. It shows what has been checked and what is only declared, so you can judge on the evidence.
The CBE badge
It appears when the pro's company number has been confirmed by VIES, the European Commission's service. If they change number, the badge disappears.
Certifications
The pro declares them and can upload proof. A certification is only marked "verified" after our team has checked that proof.
Reviews
Only a client who accepted one of the pro's quotes, on a finished job, can rate them. The pro can reply once, but cannot delete the review.
No paid ranking
Neither in the comparison nor on trade pages does a pro pay to appear before another.

Your questions before you start
Is it really free? What's the catch?
There isn't one for you: posting a request, receiving quotes, comparing them and following the job cost you nothing. Batizzy lives on subscriptions from pros who want more accounts or more automation, and takes no commission on your works.
Will ten tradespeople start calling me?
No. Pros see neither your phone number nor your email address: they write to you in the project messages, and you choose whom to answer. Only the pro whose quote you accept then sees your email address.
I don't know how to describe my works. What do I do?
Take a few photos and explain the problem out loud: the assistant turns it into a sheet you correct before posting. Pros will ask their questions anyway before they price the job.
How many quotes will I get?
We do not promise a number. It depends on the pros active near you and on the type of work; during the beta, some regions still have few. You can also search for a pro by trade and write to them directly.
Where does my data go?
It is hosted in the European Union, with servers in Dublin. From your settings, you can download your data and request the deletion of your account.
