Subcontracting: price requests, offers and 30bis withholdings

You keep the directory of your subcontractors. For a job, you send them a price request built from the lines of your quote, and each one answers from a link, without creating an account. You compare, you award, and their invoices count in the job's actual profitability.

What you do with it

  • Your subcontractor directory

    Contact details, company number, insurance end date: an insurance that has expired or is about to is flagged.

  • The request starts from the quote

    You pick the lines to subcontract. Each subcontractor gets an email in their language, and a notification if they have a Batizzy account.

  • An answer without an account

    The subcontractor prices each line from a link, or declines. You are notified at each answer.

  • Offers side by side

    Each price is compared to your sale price: the cheapest offer is marked, the margin left to you is worked out.

  • Belgian obligations flagged

    30bis withholdings calculated at payment from that day's check (NSSO 35%, FPS Finance 15%), thresholds for the works declaration and Checkin@Work flagged.

  • Their invoices in your costs

    Each subcontractor invoice becomes an actual cost of the job, next to your purchases.

Frequently asked questions

Does the subcontractor need an account?

No. They answer from the link they receive by email. If they already have a Batizzy account, they also get a notification.

Does Batizzy run the 30bis check for me?

No. Batizzy opens the official check page; you look up the subcontractor's status there and record the result. Withholdings are then calculated from that check, which only holds for the day it was made.
